Terms of Service

Welcome to Pincodo

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pincodo iOS app, website, accounts, puzzles, social features, subscriptions, and connected services (together, the “Service”). Pincodo is operated by Airidas Blekaitis (“Pincodo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Apple terms also apply

Pincodo is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms, Usage Rules, and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control for that issue.

Who may use Pincodo

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms where you live. If local law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may use Pincodo only with that permission and supervision. You may not use the Service if doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

The Service

Pincodo provides daily and archived code-breaking puzzles across multiple modes, including numeric, pattern, haptic, and trace-style play. Features may include streaks, statistics, tutorials, progress synchronization, profiles, friend discovery, daily-result sharing, pokes, one-to-one challenges, competitions, reactions, reports, notifications, and paid Pincodo Plus benefits.

Some core gameplay can be used without an account. An account is required for cloud progress, social features, and subscription linking. Features, puzzle counts, limits, mode availability, and Plus benefits may evolve as the Service is improved.

Your account

Pincodo accounts use Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Apple Account and device, providing accurate profile information, and promptly notifying us if you believe your account is being misused.

• Use one account only for yourself and do not sell, transfer, or share account access
• Choose a display name, username, and photo that you have the right to use
• Do not impersonate another person or falsely claim an affiliation
• Do not evade blocks, limits, suspensions, or other safety measures

You can sign out or permanently delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes Pincodo cloud account data but does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Puzzle safety

Pincodo is a game. Never enter your real device passcode, bank-card PIN, alarm code, password, recovery code, or any other sensitive credential as a puzzle guess, challenge code, hint, username, or other content. Treat every code submitted to a social feature as information another participant may eventually see.

Puzzles, streaks, statistics, hints, and results are for entertainment only. They are not security, financial, medical, or professional advice.

Social features and conduct

Pincodo lets players find one another by username or friend code, become friends, view daily progress and results, poke one another, create and play challenges, join competitions, and react to completed challenges. You are responsible for how you use these features and for all content you submit.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, shame, stalk, bully, or exploit another person
• Submit hateful, sexual, violent, deceptive, illegal, or otherwise abusive content
• Spam requests, pokes, challenges, reactions, reports, or notifications
• Cheat, manipulate results, coordinate fraudulent activity, or misrepresent performance
• Upload content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights
• Make false or malicious reports or abuse blocking and moderation tools

You can remove friends, block players, and report conduct in the app. We may review reports and take proportionate action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending access, or terminating accounts. We are not obligated to monitor every interaction and cannot guarantee that all user content will be appropriate.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as your display name, username, profile photo, challenge code, optional hint, reaction, and report details. You grant Pincodo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit your content and that doing so complies with these Terms and applicable law. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except where limited retention is reasonably required by law, safety, dispute resolution, or technical backup practices.

Pincodo Plus subscriptions

Pincodo Plus is offered through auto-renewable App Store subscriptions. The plans, current localized prices, billing periods, included features, and any eligible free trial or introductory offer are shown in the app’s purchase flow before you confirm payment. Apple processes payment and provides the final transaction terms.

Trials and renewal

If Apple shows that you are eligible for a free trial, your subscription starts immediately and converts to the displayed paid plan when the trial ends unless you cancel before renewal. Eligibility is determined by Apple and introductory offers are generally limited by subscription group. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled.

Cancellation

You can manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves Plus access available until the end of the paid period. Deleting Pincodo or deleting your Pincodo account does not cancel billing with Apple.

Prices, taxes, and refunds

Prices may vary by country or region and may include or exclude taxes as shown by Apple. Apple handles billing, price-change notices or consent where required, and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Pincodo does not guarantee that Apple will approve a refund.

Entitlements

Plus access depends on successful App Store verification. If a subscription expires, is refunded or revoked, or cannot be verified, paid features may become unavailable. You may use Restore Purchases to ask Apple to restore an eligible entitlement.

License and intellectual property

Pincodo and its puzzles, software, interfaces, designs, graphics, branding, text, sounds, and other non-user content are owned by Pincodo or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.

Prohibited technical use

• Do not probe, attack, overload, disrupt, or bypass the Service or its security controls
• Do not use bots, scripts, automation, scraping, or unauthorized clients to access the Service
• Do not obtain puzzle answers, private user data, or source code through unauthorized means
• Do not exploit bugs, falsify purchases or progress, evade rate limits, or interfere with fair play
• Do not introduce malware or use Pincodo to violate any law or third-party right

Responsible reports of security issues are welcome at [email protected]. Do not access, alter, or disclose another person’s data while investigating an issue.

Availability and changes

Daily puzzles, cloud sync, social features, notifications, and purchase verification depend on devices, networks, Apple, Cloudflare, and other systems outside our full control. The Service may occasionally be delayed, unavailable, changed, or discontinued.

We may add, remove, or change modes, puzzles, social tools, free limits, Plus benefits, and technical requirements. When a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will handle it consistently with applicable law and App Store requirements.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Pincodo at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or harm, misuse the Service, or if operation is no longer commercially or technically practical. Where reasonable, we will consider the seriousness and frequency of the conduct before acting.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, user-content responsibility, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent preservation of progress, perfect puzzle accuracy, delivery of every notification, compatibility with every device, or that another player will behave appropriately.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pincodo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost data, progress, opportunity, revenue, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, Pincodo’s aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Pincodo during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or €50.

These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and any right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence remain unaffected. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Pincodo, subscriptions, safety practices, or law. The effective date above will be updated. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the app or Service. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.

General

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms or your account without written permission. We may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganization, financing, acquisition, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law.
